Dear Sir,

 OPEN LETTER FOR URGENT REQUEST FOR BOREHOLE AND MINI-BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION IN ME-KURA, ME-KAKPANG AND AKUKU COMMUNITY

I hope this letter finds you well. As a resident of Me-Kura Community in Bondon Ward, Kaura local government of Kaduna State, I am writing to bring to your attention an urgent matter that requires immediate action: the need for improved water access and the construction of a mini- bridge in our community.

Access to clean and reliable water is a fundamental human right, yet many residents in our area are facing significant challenges in accessing drinking water resources. The three communities mentioned are situated at the boundary between Plateau state and Kaduna state and the communities are made up of 3 political polling units with not less than 1,500 voters registered who have been voting in and out of many government including your APC government of today who appointed one of their Son Hon. Donatus Adamu as the Kaura local government coordinator for Mallam Uba Sani Campaign organization and Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu respectively which as the result of his presence affected positively the results of the APC in the last 2023 elections at the three polling units, Ward and the entire Kaura local government compared to previous scores of the APC in past elections.

Sir, I am a young man who was born in this same community and have grown up drinking contaminated water from the river and local constructed wells without the intervention of government in any capacity even a Borehole, road or electricity and these communities are circled in between two rivers connecting Kaura of Kaduna State and Ryom of Plateau state without any bridges to aid the economic activities of the people for over 200years of their existence in the land. We have been performing our civic responsibility by voting for any well wishing government but after then we see nothing in return since the emergence of democracy in Nigeria.

In a noteshell, the absence of a bridge in our area poses serious safety risks and impedes economic development. For instance, the lack of a bridge has led to accidents, lost of lives during rainy seasons, and difficulty in transportation of goods, or limited access to essential services like healthcare facilities and even stops students from attending classes during the wet season.

It is clear that addressing these issues requires proactive measures and investments in infrastructure. Therefore, I urge you, as our elected representative, to prioritize the following actions:

1. Water Access Improvement: Invest in upgrading existing local water infrastructure to Solar Boreholes or implementing new systems to ensure all residents have access to clean and reliable water.

  

2. Bridge Construction: Allocate resources for the construction of a bridge in Me-Kura, me-Kakpang and Akuku ( Tripod Community) to enhance connectivity, improve safety, and stimulate economic growth.

By taking decisive action on these matters, you will not only improve the quality of life for residents in our community but also demonstrate your commitment to addressing pressing needs and fostering sustainable development.

I kindly request for your kind attention to consider our plea as a capacy governor and the governor of the people to call the attention of the Kaduna state rural development agency to discuss these issues further and explore potential solutions.

 We the young people believe in your style of leadership and your support and leadership on this matter are crucial, and I am confident that together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of those in our community.
